About Huangshan City

Huangshan City, located in the southern part of Anhui Province, China, is world-famous for its spectacular natural landscapes and profound cultural heritage. It is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mount Huangshan (Yellow Mountain), celebrated for its majestic granite peaks, ancient pine trees, and ever-changing sea of clouds. In addition to its iconic scenery, Huangshan preserves a wealth of historical and cultural treasures, including the ancient villages of Hongcun and Xidi—both listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites—renowned for their traditional Anhui-style architecture and picturesque landscapes. Today, Huangshan is not only a major destination for tourism but also an emerging center for cultural exchange, ecological protection, and sustainable development. With its harmony of natural beauty, cultural depth, and modern infrastructure, Huangshan offers an inspiring setting for academic exchange and international cooperation.
